Job summary

Total Wine & More in Lewisville, TX is seeking friendly cashiers for seasonal (short-term) positions. You will process transactions, greet customers, promote the loyalty program, and maintain store standards. Role may include as-needed assignments as sales associate or merchandiser/stock support.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years retail experience, familiarity with POS systems, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and lift up to 50 lbs. Training in wine and beer is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for best-in-class customer service and team player mindset.
• 1–3 years of work experience, 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical requirements: must be 21+, able to stand 8–10 hours, lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, inquiries, loyalty promotions, and bagging.
• Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards for sale of alcohol and maintain a safe store environment.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
