Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Appleton, WI is hiring a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm). Starting rate is $18/hour with an additional $1/hour shift differential. No experience is required as training will be provided to help you succeed on the dock and warehouse floor.

You will operate a forklift and walkie rider, load and wrap pallets, scan and count pallets, and move items to the mezzanine and various departments as needed.

Qualifications

• No experience is required; training will be provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for the shift.

• Dock scan and count pallets; move pallets to departments and mezzanine.
• Operate box maker; move/shroud handling and waste compactor.

Job description

Starting Rate : $18/hour, plus $1/hour 2nd shift differential.

Base Hours: 2nd shift, 3pm-11pm, overtime as needed.

As our Forklift Operator, you will:

• Operate a forklift and a walkie rider
• Load, wrap and/or stage pallets
• Organize/stack parcels onto pallets
• Dock scan and count pallets to ensure accuracy
• Move pallets of product to various departments and on to the mezzanine
• Operate box maker
• Move & empty shrouds into compactor and replace
• Will cross train and assist in other areas

No experience necessary! We will provide you with all the training you need to be successful.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire duration of your shift
