Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Appleton, WI is hiring a Seasonal Forklift Operator for 2nd shift. Starting rate is $18/hour with a $1/hour second shift differential. The role includes training upon hire and requires the ability to operate a forklift, load and wrap pallets, and manage pallet movements within the warehouse.

Base hours are 3pm–11pm, with overtime as needed. Physical work includes lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for the shift duration.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk for the full shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift and a walkie rider.
• Load, wrap and/or stage pallets.
• Organize/stack parcels onto pallets.
• Dock scan and count pallets to ensure accuracy.
• Move pallets to various departments and to the mezzanine.
• Operate box maker and replace shrouds in the compactor.

Base Hours: 2nd shift, 3pm-11pm, overtime as needed. Location: N9234 Lake Park Road, Appleton WI 54915

As our Forklift Operator, you will:

• Operate a forklift and a walkie rider
• Load, wrap and/or stage pallets
• Organize/stack parcels onto pallets
• Dock scan and count pallets to ensure accuracy
• Move pallets of product to various departments and on to the mezzanine
• Operate box maker
• Move & empty shrouds into compactor and replace
• Will cross train and assist in other areas

No experience necessary! We will provide you with all the training you need to be successful.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire duration of your shift
