Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Seasonal Equipment Operator/Laborer for a wholesale nursery in East Amherst, NY. The role runs through December with a seasonal layoff until mid-March, weather permitting.

Shift: 8am–6pm, seven days a week; open availability required as schedules vary. Responsibilities include operating a forklift or bobcat to move large plants, loading/unloading trucks, and occasional customer assistance by loading bagged goods into vehicles.

Qualifications

• Proven forklift or bobcat experience required.
• Valid driver's license and/or experience driving a truck with a trailer.
• Must be able to handle the outside elements (cold, rain, heat, snow etc.).
• Must have a friendly disposition.
• Lifting up to 70 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift/bobcat to lift large products.
• Load and unload trucks filled with trees/shrubs.
• Occasionally load bagged goods into customer vehicles when needed.
