Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support warehouse, manufacturing, shipping, receiving and material handling in a non-climate-controlled environment. The role requires forklift operation, attention to detail, basic math, and accurate documentation of shipments and batch tickets.

The position involves moving palletized products, inspecting shipments, preparing pallets of drums, and communicating with the operations team by email.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Experience in warehouse operations or material handling preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and document shipments accurately.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and follow batch tickets, labels and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow all on-site food safety, health safety, GMP, and PPE requirements.
• Operate a forklift to move palletized products and totes.
• Operate material handling equipment for product movement.
• Receive and document bulk and palletized shipments.
• Inspect incoming packages for damage or improper documentation.
• Inspect incoming bulk tankers for improper washing or documentation.
• Prepare, document, and ship transfer trucks with bulk and palletized product.
• Document shipments in an organized and efficient manner.
• Use email to communicate with the operations team.
• Print documentation and labels for order preparation and batch manufacturing.
• Package and label 55-gallon drums and totes of product.
• Prepare pallets of 55-gallon drums using steel straps and shipping labels.
• Set up bulk liquid transfers using hoses and pumps safely.
• Blend products in tanks, totes, and drums using liquid and solid components measured according to batch tickets.
• Collect samples to support formulations and quality.
• Clean up spills using absorbent pads and sump pumps.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
