Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
Reports To: Seasonal Supervisors, Managers, and Full-Time Management Staff
Schedule: Must be able to have open availability throughout the end of the year
Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, dependent on weather and guest attendance; schedule subject to change through the spring and summer. Hours are subject to change on short notice depending on weather and business needs.
Overview of Responsibilities
- Set up and break down kitchen workstations
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, including trash removal, sweeping/mopping, and general cleanliness
- Food quality and quantity control
- Knowledge of food products, identification, and acceptable food quality standards
- Maintain Department of Health standards at all times and participate in inspections
- Rotate and change food holding containers as needed
- Prepare food according to recipes and protocols, including operating food preparation equipment
- Ensure proper portion sizes to maintain food costs
- Assist in other production areas as needed
- Perform cash handling functions, including operating the POS
- Provide general customer service
Additional Job Functions
- Adhere to cleaning schedules as directed by management
- Keep work locations neat, clean, organized, and safe
- Provide consistent quality throughout menu items and proper food preparation and holding
- Complete reasonable requests or tasks assigned by management
- Establish and maintain a collaborative working relationship with all staff
- Maintain knowledge of park attractions and amenities to deliver superior customer service
- Follow all WCS rules and regulations
Maintenance Responsibilities
- Remove debris and empty trash from restaurant seating and public areas
- Perform sanitation of restaurant grounds
- Deep clean equipment, walls, floors, ceilings, etc., as assigned
- Operate lightweight grounds equipment if needed (pressure washer, leaf blower, etc.)
- Follow cleanliness, food handling, and storage procedures per local, state, and federal regulations
