Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred and/or two years’ work experience in the field.
• Ability to perform basic math and use computers as needed.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Professional and efficient delivery of food from kitchen to the correct table or room.
• Ensure understanding of all special food requests and convey details to kitchen clearly.
• Coordinate with the server on timing of food items as the link to the kitchen for special orders.
• Execute opening and closing side work professionally.
• Assist busers with bussing/clearing tables and restocking dining materials.
• Be aware of current specials and general info about Gulfstream Park to answer guest questions.
• Follow department SOPs, policies on uniforms, communication, and duties.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests and staff.
• Perform duties with safety as a priority.
