Job summary

The Classic Club in Palm Desert, CA, is seeking a part-time Food Runner/Expo to support servers and expeditors in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven setting. This seasonal role (approximately six months or less) emphasizes efficient service, attention to detail, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include delivering orders, maintaining clean BOH areas, and supporting team members to ensure timely dining experiences.

Qualifications

• High school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prev. experience as a Food Runner or similar entry-level role in a restaurant.
• ServSafe Certified (Food Handler & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
• Strong multitasking, communication and customer-oriented skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables rapidly and accurately.
• Assists servers by delivering orders, keeping BOH areas clean, organized and stocked.
• Keeps workstations stocked and clean; ensures items are ready for service.
• Communicates with guests about ingredients when needed and notes special requests.
