Job summary

Crane Nuclear is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform AOV or MOV diagnostic testing, data acquisition, and actuator setup. You will analyze diagnostic signatures and support various technician work scopes in both radiological and non-radiological environments.

This seasonal contract role requires strong safety performance, effective communication, and ability to travel up to 80% to meet customer requirements and project timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 520 hours direct experience as an AOV Diagnostic Test Tech, OR associate/bachelor’s degree in related discipline with 260 hours direct experience, OR Crane Accelerated Development Program.
• Excellent safety and attendance performance is expected.
• Commitment to safety and strong communications skills are required.
• Meet current certification and qualification requirements per CRANE Nuclear QAP-2.0.

Responsibilities

• Perform AOV or MOV diagnostic testing, data acquisition, actuator setup, and instrument calibrations.
• Analyze AOV or MOV diagnostic signatures and perform related technician duties as needed.
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts and travel up to 80% to support domestic work orders.
• Maintain safety and follow CRANE procedures in radiological and non-radiological environments.
