Job summary

Crane Nuclear is seeking a Field Service Engineer to conduct AOV and MOV diagnostic testing, data acquisition, actuator setup, and instrument calibrations. The role requires strong safety performance, effective communication, and the ability to work in both radiological and non-radiological environments.

Responsibilities include testing, analysis of diagnostic signatures, and ensuring compliance with Crane Nuclear QAP-2.0. The position may involve travel and 12-hour rotating shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 520 hours direct AOV diagnostic test tech experience or
• Associate/Bachelor’s degree in related discipline with 260 hours direct experience, or Crane Accelerated Development Program.
• Excellent safety and attendance performance expected.
• Commitment to safety and strong communications skills are a must.
• Must be able to work in teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform AOV/MOV diagnostic testing, data acquisition, actuator set-up, and instrument calibrations.
• Analyze AOV/MOV diagnostic signatures and ensure procedures follow Crane Nuclear standards.
• Complete tests in radiological and non-radiological environments.
• Maintain safety, quality, and customer-focused results.
