Job summary

Michels Utility Services, Inc. seeks a Field Assistant to collect and document information for maps, records and materials needed to install gas mains and services.

You will also assist crew members with non-labor tasks and must show eagerness to learn and strong communication skills. The role requires proficiency in Excel and Adobe, familiarity with GIS (desirable), and a valid driver’s license with the ability to travel across Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Proficient with Adobe Platforms.
• Experience with GIS platforms (desired).
• A valid driver’s license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel throughout Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document pertinent information for customers in regards to maps, records and materials required for gas mains and services.
• Assist crew members with non-labor related tasks.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn, take direction and effective communication skills.
