Job summary

Three Rivers Park District is seeking a Seasonal Fall Horticulture Worker to assist with fall cleanup and winter prep at Noerenberg Memorial Gardens in Wayzata and Silverwood Park in St. Anthony.

This seasonal maintenance role is up to 67 working days per calendar year, with a starting wage of $18.25/hour. Must be 16+ and possess a Minnesota Class D driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Valid Minnesota Class D driver's license, upon appointment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in fall cleanup and winter prep in native plantings throughout the Park District.
• Support seasonal maintenance at Noerenberg Memorial Gardens (Wayzata) and Silverwood Park (St. Anthony).

Job Announcement:

Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill Seasonal Fall Horticulture Workerpositions at Noerenberg Memorial Gardens in Wayzata, MN and Silverwood Park in St. Anthony, MN. This position under direction assists in fall cleanup and winter prep in native plantings (rain gardens, pollinator gardens, wildlife gardens) throughout the Park District. As a seasonal maintenance position, employment shall not exceed 67 working days in a calendar year. Student seasonal employees, who are under the age of 22, a full-time student enrolled in a nonprofit or public educational institution prior to being hired and plan to be in or return to school after employment ends, may work 100 days in a calendar year.

STARTING WAGE: $18.25/hour
