Job summary

Samaritan's Purse in Windsor Mill, MD is seeking a Seasonal Facilities Maintenance Associate to support the Facilities team with preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and safe work order documentation.

The position runs mid-November to mid-December with a pay rate of $20 per hour, requiring the ability to lift 50+ lbs and strong attention to detail while upholding the organization’s faith-driven mission.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in construction including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Attention to detail and high level of organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities and building systems through preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and accurate work order documentation.
• Support building and grounds operations, including equipment operation, snow removal, loading/unloading, and transporting supplies and materials.
• Collaborate with the Facilities team to prioritize daily work, communicate maintenance needs, and support ministry events and special projects.
• Promote safety and continued growth by following safety procedures and participating in training to strengthen maintenance skills.
