Job summary

Sunbeam Family Services is seeking a Facilities Technician I to perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair, inspection, and facility support to keep buildings, grounds, and equipment safe and functional.

The role involves preventive maintenance, coordinating with contractors, and responding to emergencies across multiple Sunbeam locations. Seasonal position through January 31, 2026, with flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications

• The minimum education level is HS Diploma or higher; an Associate’s Degree is preferred.
• Experience in building maintenance or related fields is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance of facilities, grounds, equipment, and building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and painting.
• Inspect facilities and systems to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety and licensing compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance, janitorial, lawn care and security services.
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, weather-related issues, and after-hours issues as needed.
• Travel between agency locations to support operations and maintenance tasks.
