Bass Pro Shops in Gonzales, LA is hosting a Seasonal Events Associate to support store events and on-the-spot interviews during the holiday season. The role includes assisting customers, promoting programs, and contributing to a safe, vibrant shopping environment.

This position offers an opportunity to participate in on-site workshops, work with a team, and engage with customers while delivering excellent service. Seasonal hours and a welcoming workplace are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
• Ability to perform data entry, analyze reports and ledgers
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other Associates
• Good Customer Service skills
• Ability to function in a noisy and hectic environment, with children and parents

Responsibilities

• Support a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Provide a legendary experience for every customer, every time by assisting customers in making buying decisions by: identifying and evaluating customers' needs, making product recommendations based off of this analysis and promoting programs including, but not limited to CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers, children and customers.
• Assist with the execution of seasonal events.
• Facilitate "in-house" outdoor skills workshops.
• Participate in Store "events" as scheduled.
• Keep work area clean, neat and safe at all times.
• All other duties as assigned.
