Bass Pro Shops in Lone Tree, CO is seeking a Seasonal Events Associate to support store events and short-term assignments throughout the year.

You will help deliver a legendary customer experience, assist shoppers with product choices, and promote CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up. The role includes participating in outdoor skills workshops and events, with a starting pay of $15.16–$17.75 per hour, part-time benefits available.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
• Data entry and ability to analyze reports.
• Friendly and professional communication with customers.
• Ability to function in a noisy and hectic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support world class customer service and ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying needs and promoting programs (CLUB Membership, VOC, In-Store Pick-up).
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with management, coworkers, children and customers.
• Assist with the execution of seasonal events and store events as scheduled.
• Facilitate in-house outdoor skills workshops.
• Keep work area clean, neat and safe at all times.
• All other duties as assigned.

_ POSITION SUMMARY: _

The Seasonal Events Associate performs duties associated with store events, participates in "short term" assignments and seasonal events to support the store as needed throughout the year.

_ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: _

• Support a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Provide a legendary experience for every customer, every time by assisting customers in making buying decisions by: identifying and evaluating customers’ needs, making product recommendations based off of this analysis and promoting programs including, but not limited to CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers, children and customers.
• Assist with the execution of seasonal events.
• Facilitate "in-house" outdoor skills workshops.
• Participate in Store "events" as scheduled.
• Keep work area clean, neat and safe at all times.
• All other duties as assigned

_ EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: _

• High School education or equivalent experience

_ KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY _

• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
• Ability to perform data entry, analyze reports and ledgers
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other Associates
• Good Customer Service skills
• Ability to function in a noisy and hectic environment, with children and parents

• Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Starting Pay Rate: $15.16 - $17.75
