The Seasonal Events Coordinator joins the Marketing and Events team to help plan and execute Beech Mountain Resort’s winter event calendar.
Hours will vary based on the event schedule and the candidate’s availability, generally ranging from approximately 25 to 45 hours per week. Some weeks will involve more planning and preparation, while event weeks will require a more hands on schedule.
The scope of this position is broad. The coordinator will work with bands, artists, vendors, partners and departments throughout the resort. This person will also take a leadership role in planning and executing a large fundraising event benefiting the Colon Cancer Coalition.
We need someone who can keep a lot of moving pieces organized, anticipate what needs to happen next and remain flexible when plans change. Seeing the big picture is important, but so is catching the smallest detail.
Evening, weekend and holiday availability will be required for certain events.
