Job summary

GATORLAND in Orlando, FL is seeking a Walk Around Character/Performer for a seasonal, hourly role in the Executive department. You will meet and greet guests, perform in front of crowds and cameras, and pose for photos or autographs as requested.

The role requires wearing a costume in hot, humid weather and staying patient with diverse families and languages. A high school diploma or GED is required, and follow-up duties may be assigned by supervision.

Summary of Duties: Responsible for walking about the park while meeting and greeting guest in a performance manner.

Primary Duties:

• Appear for meet and greets with guests, and as needed.
• Be comfortable performing in front of people and a camera.
• Pose for pictures and possibly sign autographs, as requested.
• Be comfortable wearing a costume in hot and humid weather.
• Be patient in working with diverse families, including, but not limited to, children with special needs and families that speak other languages.
• Provide our guests with fun, smiles, and special memories.

Education, experience and specialized skills and knowledge requirements

High school or GED equivalency

Must be physically able to perform above duties without any physical limitations.
