Job summary

Compass Group USA’s Chartwells Higher Ed is seeking seasonal Catering Attendant positions at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. Open availability required; shifts vary and on-site duties include delivering, setting up, serving, and breaking down events.

Prior guest service experience is preferred to ensure excellent guest experiences during functions. As part of the campus team, you will assist with event setup, maintain clean work areas, and follow safety procedures while delivering

Qualifications

• Prior experience serving guests and delivering excellent customer service.
• Able to assist with event setup and breakdown and perform cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Arranges tables and decorations.
• Arranges buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Thoroughly cleans location after event is completed.
• Returns food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment.
