Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, seeks an experienced registered nurse for a seasonal Emergency Department role. The ER RN provides safe, patient-centered care and coordinates with physicians and the nursing team.

Applicants must have 2+ years ER nursing experience and Florida RN licensure, plus BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Certification and CPI training. The position offers a seasonal hourly rate and opportunities for advancement within UHS and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing and active Florida RN licensure.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• NIH Stroke Certification and CPI training are expected within 90 days.
• Current ACLS through American Heart Association.
• Current PALS through American Heart Association.
• Current NIH Stroke Certification.
• CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and standards.
• Communicate with physicians and nursing staff about patient needs and care plans.
• Administer IVs and medications; monitor patient vital signs with equipment.
• Demonstrates professional leadership and supports the healthcare team.
