Job summary

Northwest Sahuarita Hospital is seeking a Seasonal ED RN for 13- or 26-week assignments on the day shift. Full-time hours are 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, with an opportunity to earn a higher hourly rate in a temporary Seasonal contract position.

The role requires 2+ years of emergency nursing experience and active RN licensure in AZ or a compact state. The RN delivers patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED, administers medications, coordinates care with physicians and teams, and upholds

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a clinical nursing role in an acute emergency care setting.
• Active RN license in AZ or a compact state.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process and unit protocols.
• Perform thorough assessments, document findings, and report changes promptly.
• Administer meds, monitor effects, and document administration per standards.
• Assist physicians during procedures and collaborate with care teams.
• Ensure infection control and patient safety in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Educate patients and families and participate in performance improvement activities.
