Job summary

Northwest Medical Center Tucson is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a seasonal 13- or 26-week assignment. The mid-shift role offers a higher hourly rate and the chance to work in a busy ED while enjoying Tucson’s outdoor winter.

The RN will perform assessment, care planning, medication administration, and close collaboration with physicians and the care team. 1+ year ED experience required; BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• ED RN with 1+ year experience
• Active RN license
• Certifications: BLS/ACLS/PALS

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered ED care per nursing process
• Assess, document, and report patient status
• Administer meds and monitor for side effects
• Collaborate with physicians and care team
• Respond to emergencies and assist in life-saving interventions
• Document thoroughly in medical records
