Qualifications

• Licensed by the state Board of Nursing.

• Experience with nursing process and patient education.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and evaluate care.
• Strong communication with multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, quality patient care using the nursing process and document accordingly.
• Maintain compliance with NMHS policies and requirements as directed by the Nurse Manager and Educator.
• Provide patient/family education and act as a resource for staff.
• Attend daily huddles to ensure proper assignments and identify team members for the shift.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and effective interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues.
