Job summary

Tampa General Hospital's InterHealth division is hiring a Seasonal Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy Center on the Tampa campus. You will provide patient care under supervision, document assessments, and support a fast-paced procedural unit.

This 13-week contract offers higher base pay, shift differentials, and benefits; opportunities for conversion to full-time or part-time, depending on coverage. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 am to 7 pm with rotating evening and weekend call.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
• Prior Endoscopy, Operating Room, or procedural experience required
• ICU/PACU experience required
• BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
• Proficiency in Epic Optime Surgical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, delivers nursing care to patients.
• Plans and implements nursing care; documents nursing assessments; identifies and reports situations requiring further intervention; formulates and communicates goal-directed plan of care; assures patient rights.
• Supports a Magnet-designated nursing team and adheres to Tampa General Hospital quality principles.

Education

Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) preferred
