Job description

The Village of Sussex is now hiring for 2025 summer seasonal Day Camp Counselors. Counselors will assist the Day Camp Coordinator with the planning, organization, and implementation of weekly camp activities to create a high-quality experience for every camper. Work begins in early June and ends in late August, depending on seasonal employee availability. Applicants must be 18 or older.

Hours: Counselors are needed Monday-Friday 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Each Counselor will work on a rotational basis each week to cover the hours needed for Day Camp. Individual work schedules (days/times) will be distributed weekly.

Wage: $14/hour

Full-time seasonal employees may enroll up to two children in the Village of Sussex day camp program for free.
