Health, Inc. in Naples, FL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. You will provide direct patient care across all ages, adhere to policies, participate in care planning, and respond to emergencies with sound clinical judgment.
Requires Florida RN or APRN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least one year in acute care, with ED or pediatric ICU experience preferred. BSN preferred; fellowship options available for new graduates.
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department provides independent nursing care, utilizing standards, policies, and procedures to deliver direct patient care across all age groups and emergency situations.
Develops and implements patient care plans, coordinates care delivery, and employs patient teaching to promote health and safety. Evaluates patient progress, practices ethically, and integrates current evidence-based practices. Demonstrates leadership, collaborates with patients, families, and inter-professional teams, and utilizes appropriate resources for safe, effective, and fiscally responsible care. Maintains ED-specific certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS), manages emergency equipment, participates in staff orientation, cross-trains in ED areas, and ensures continuity of care through referrals and accurate documentation. Must be capable of rapid decision-making in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Minimum 1 year of RN experience in acute care, with at least one year in emergency or pediatric ICU. Must be licensed as an RN or APRN in Florida, with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. PALS and other certifications like ENPC and TNCC are desirable. New graduates are eligible for a fellowship program requiring a 2-year post-training commitment. BSN preferred. Intermediate computer skills are necessary.
