Seasonal Elevator Worker - Ottawa, IL

This is a full time, hourly position

Position Summary:

We are looking for a high potential individual ready to take on challenges and responsibilities at our Ottawa location.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Operate elevator processes and powered industrial equipment
2. General Plant Cleaning
3. Ability to climb stairs and ladders
4. Shoveling, vacuuming/sweeping, loading and unloading trucks and railcars, and general maintenance
5. Ability and willingness to work overtime up to 12 hours per day and weekend overtime is necessary.

Job Requirements:

1. Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
2. Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
3. Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing, working in confined spaces and heights, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, must meet all requirements to wear a respirator
4. Willing to work overtime and weekends during harvest periods
5. Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
6. Candidates are required to provide own means of transportation to and from work.
