Job summary

Marion City Schools is seeking an Elementary Boys Basketball Manager for Harding High School. The role is a seasonal, part-time supplemental contract handling coaching support, game and practice supervision, and coordination with head coaches.

The position requires PASP permit or approved alternative by the superintendent/board, CPR and First Aid/Health Safety training, and a strong knowledge of basketball and youth development.

Qualifications

• PASP permit required or acceptable superintendent/board-approved alternative
• Fundamentals of Coaching knowledge
• Concussion Education
• CPR certification current
• First Aid/Health Safety training
• Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training per Lindsey’s Law
• Knowledge of the sport and age-appropriate tasks
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate elementary boys basketball program
• Assist with instruction and supervision at games and practices
• Work under the Head Coach guidance
• Maintain safety and ethical standards
• Coordinate with staff, parents and students
• Assist in equipment inventory and distribution
• Attend practices and ensure student-athlete accountability
