Pay Range: $18.25/hour - $19.25/hour

As Assistant Local Manager, you will work alongside our Local Manager to lead, develop, and motivate the local team to achieve personal, professional, and company goals.

Responsibilities

Our Assistant Local Manager Will Also:

  • Promote a positive, collaborative environment and maintain our core values and policies.
  • Assist the Local Manager with preparations for the opening day including hiring completion, inventories, equipment setup/testing, staff scheduling and training, and learning proper opening/closing procedures.
  • Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home.
  • Photography experience not required.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns or service failures appropriately to ensure optimal guest experiences and recovery.
  • Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by senior management.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to IT or Local Management when needed.
  • Assist the Local Manager with administrative tasks such as inventory, scheduling, training, and/or recruiting.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Team player who can work independently and understands the importance of leadership.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to use good judgment and make strong, independent decisions.
  • Ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling.
  • Professional attire and good hygiene are a must.
  • Available to attend mandatory pre-season training.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work during “peak” retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week or as needed.
Knowledge, Experience & Skill
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Previous retail/assistant manager and photography experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 20 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time.
