Job summary

National Retail Transportation (NRS) in Piscataway, NJ is hiring Seasonal Temporary Local Truck Drivers. Drivers perform local deliveries, mostly around NYC Boroughs, the NY metro area, Eastern PA and Long Island. Home daily with pallet deliveries and drop-and-hook freight.

Immediate seasonal openings with competitive pay. Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL, 1+ year experience within 3 years, and the ability to pass DOT screenings.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Availability to work for the full duration of the seasonal assignment.
• Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience (or equivalent military driving experience) within the last 3 years.
• Must maintain a safety-focused driving history; clean MVR/PSP and employment history preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical qualifications.
• Current DOT physical certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
