Job summary

Coastal Beverage Company in Elizabeth City, NC is seeking a seasonal helper to ride with a Delivery Driver and assist with loading, stocking, and merchandising. This field-based role requires daily presence at customer accounts and adherence to CBC standards.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM (or until route is finished). Candidates must pass pre-employment screenings; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Basic math and measurement skills including rate, ratio and percent.
• Ability to work in a field setting with consistent presence at customer accounts.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment screenings (background, drug tests).

Responsibilities

• Ride with Delivery Driver to assist loading/unloading products.
• Stock and merchandise beverage sections to CBC standards.
• Maintain punctual attendance for timely deliveries.
• Work in customers' accounts throughout the day during standard hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This is seasonal position working now - approximately September 4, 2026

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ride in the cab of our truck with a Delivery Driver to assist with loading and unloading products.
• Responsible for stocking and merchandising various products ensuring that all beverage sections, racks, and displays are filled, POS neat, clean and current and displays maintained according to Coastal Beverage Company's standards.
• Responsible for regular and punctual attendance to ensure product is delivered timely to CBC customers.
• This is a field-based role requiring consistent presence in customer accounts throughout the day during designated standard business hours to ensure customer satisfaction.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

2. Possess education equivalent to a high school diploma.
3. Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
4. Possess the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
5. Possess basic mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Possess the ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
6. Possess ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
7. Possess computer skills requiring knowledge of e-mail software, and Internet.
8. Possess the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
