Job summary

Carriage House in Palm Beach, FL is seeking an on-site driver to safely transport company property, equipment, and passengers. The role requires adherence to safety regulations, punctuality, and professional presentation within a private members’ club environment.

You will transport staff and belongings, maintain vehicle readiness, and support warehouse tasks as needed while upholding the club’s standards and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• One year or more of driving experience.
• Excellent navigation and proficiency with navigation apps.
• Time management and organizational skills to stay on schedule.
• Able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
• Able to lift and carry containers and equipment weighing up to 65 lbs.
• Able to reach various levels ranging from overhead to the floor.
• Ability to withstand high temperatures, moisture, and noise levels in work areas.

Responsibilities

• Transport employees and/or company’s belongings to and from destinations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and upkeep, including fueling as needed.
• Ensure items are stored properly after transport.
• Arrive at destinations on schedule.
• Plan routes considering traffic, constructions and weather delays.
• Use navigation apps to determine the best route.
• Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
• Attend meetings and training as required.
• Report to work on time in the correct uniform.
• Perform warehouse tasks as necessary.

Job Summary
The driver is responsible for safely and securely transporting company property, equipment, and/or passengers from one location to another. The driver must ensure that all transportation activities are carried out efficiently, professionally, and in compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and the employer’s established standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Transport employees and/or company’s belongings to and from destinations.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of vehicles and upkeep, including gas and refilling gas or whatever is needed to help the vehicles run proficiently.
• Ensures all items are properly stored in assigned areas once transported.
• Arrive at destination on schedule.
• Research and plan for traffic, constructions and weather delays
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
• Arrange for vehicle repair as needed.
• Attends meetings and training as required.
• Reports to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in the correct uniform.
• Performs warehouse work as necessary including organizing, moving and inventory.

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES:

• Detailed knowledge of rules and regulations of the law for driving a motor vehicle
• Strong knowledge and skills in driving vans and upkeep
• Must be able to multitask and work in a face paced team environment.
• Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
• Strong organizational and verbal communication skills
• Excellent guest and employee relations skills
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in jobrelated English.
