Job summary

Simplot is seeking a Seasonal DOT Operations Support at our Grafton, ND location. You will help deliver and apply fertilizer and chemicals, blend products, calibrate equipment, and perform maintenance while ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA and HazMat rules.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and strong customer communication. Ideal candidates bring a Class A CDL, 1+ year of related experience, and the ability to operate heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1+ years of related experience preferred (agriculture or equipment operation).
• Class A CDL required.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (sprayers, semi-trucks, trailers).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and applying fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
• Communicating effectively with customers.
• Blending fertilizer and calibrating application equipment.
• Performing vehicle and equipment maintenance (including welding, pump/engine overhauls).
• Ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and HazMat regulations.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds or more as part of daily tasks.
