Job summary

The Simplot Company in Grafton, ND is seeking a Seasonal DOT Operations Support 2 to help deliver and apply fertilizer and chemicals, maintain equipment, and ensure DOT/OSHA/HazMat compliance. This temporary role supports seasonal needs with overtime and weekend availability.

You will operate heavy equipment, communicate with customers, blend fertilizer, calibrate application gear, and perform vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required.
• 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (sprayers, semi-trucks, trailers).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and applying fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
• Blending fertilizer and calibrating application equipment.
• Performing vehicle and equipment maintenance (including welding, pump/engine overhauls).
• Ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and HazMat regulations.
• Communicating effectively with customers.
