Responsibilities

• Direct dispatch of transportation equipment according to Linehaul plan.
• Ensure Linehaul dispatch and arrival rules are followed.
• Coordinate cargo shipments to maximize trailer volume and meet delivery obligations.
• Enter dispatch events into TMS to ensure on‑time delivery and trailer pickup.
• Verify equipment locations in dispatch system via yard inventories.
• Check load/unload status and report missing equipment promptly.
• Promote safety initiatives to foster a safety-conscious culture.
• Investigate delays, accidents and equipment failures and implement contingency plans.
