Job Summary

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition. This is a seasonal position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses the dishwashing machine as assigned, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
2. Washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
3. Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and methods, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
4. Follows safety procedures to ensure safety.
5. Maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels as per standards.
6. Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
7. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to maintain safety and sanitation.
8. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
9. Removes trash and cleans garbage cans.
10. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
11. Helps load and unload supplies and products.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
