Colorado House Republican Caucus is seeking a high-energy Deputy Communications Director for a seasonal, session-only role. You will translate policy into public narratives, maintain the caucus brand, and amplify legislative successes.

This position requires rapid-content creation and coordination with staff across communications, digital, and design teams. During October–December, work part-time in person (Mon/Wed/Fri, 9–5).

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Political Science, or related field is highly desirable.
• Experience in communications for political organizations, government, or media preferred.
• Strong understanding of Colorado political landscape is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Prepares and manages communications materials, including photographs, press releases, statements, weekly caucus newsletter, talking points, op-eds, and digital content.
• Develops and maintains a consistent brand voice across platforms.
• Supports media relations and cultivates journalist and community contacts.
• Coordinates work of communications, digital, and design staff.
• Assists in creating digital, video, audio, and print content for House Minority legislators.
• Assist with social media content, websites, and printed materials daily.
• Daily use of photo editor, content creation tools, clipping/reframe tools, and video curation apps.
• Assists in rapid-response communications to breaking news.
• Supports members with media coaching, floor speech prep, constituent communications, and press scheduling.
