Job summary

Pillar Health, a Division of Kenosha Community Health Center, Inc, seeks a dedicated Seasonal Dental Assistant for the Seal-a-Smile program serving students in Kenosha County. The role focuses on chairside support, x-rays, impressions, and four-handed dentistry within a school-based health program.

The position runs September through May, with Monday through Thursday hours from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, in various Kenosha County schools.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Dental Assistant Training Program preferred.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with clinical procedures, including four-handed dentistry.
• Take and develop digital x-rays; prepare and handle impressions.
• Maintain patient records and ensure patient safety and infection control protocols.
