Job summary

The Fresh Market is hiring seasonal team members across Grocery, Guest Service, Early Morning Production, Produce and counter support in Deli, Bakery, or Meat & Seafood departments. Positions are temporary and designed to cover peak periods.

You will engage with guests to determine meal needs, merchandise products, weigh and scan items, handle cash, and assist in general store tasks while maintaining a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• A passion for providing extraordinary service
• At least 16 years of age or at least 18 years of age in our Deli, Bakery, Produce

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide excellent guest service, engaging with guests to learn their wants and needs to help them create meal solutions
• Create a hospitable shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products and specialty items throughout the day, while assisting nearby guests
• Properly weighing and scanning of products, cash handling, and providing change where appropriate
• Gather shopping carts from the parking lot and assist in general housekeeping duties throughout the store
• Slice and prepare a variety of the department's meat, cheeses, and convenient meal solutions while maintaining quality product levels
• Present yourself in a professional manner, including adhering to uniform standards
