The Cardiovascular Technologist RCIS and Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT are qualified by specific didactic, laboratory, with clinical technological education to perform various cardiovascular/peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited school Allied Health Services Cardiovascular Technology Invasive Program with Certification AS (Associate of Science) degree.

Experience: Graduate from an accredited school Allied Health Services Cardiovascular Technology Invasive Program with Certification AS (Associate of Science) degree.

Completion of 500hrs PCI certified working in a Cardiac Cath Lab in Hospital with Open Heart Surgery program

Licenses/Certifications: Certification from accredited Allied Health Cardiovascular Technology Invasive Program. BLS and ACLS certification required. Registry eligible with RCIS or ARRT RT (R)
