Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the division being hired into.
• Completion of 500 hours PCI certified working in a Cardiac Cath Lab.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiovascular/peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Assist in various procedures within the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
• Contribute to patient care while working independently.

The Cardiovascular Technologist RCIS and Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT are qualified by specific didactic, laboratory training to perform various cardiovascular/peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited school Allied Health Services Cardiovascular Technology Invasive Program with Certification AS (Associate of Science) degree.
• Experience: Graduate from an accredited school Allied Health Services Cardiovascular Technology Invasive Program with Certification AS (Associate of Science) degree.
• Completion of 500hrs PCI certified working in a Cardiac Cath Lab in Hospital with Open Heart Surgery program.
• Licenses/Certifications: Certification from accredited Allied Health Cardiovascular Technology Invasive Program. BLS and ACLS certification required. Registry eligible with RCIS or ARRT RT (R).
