Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to deliver Best of the WEST customer service in a fast-paced Westernwear setting. You will help customers find products, share knowledge, and contribute to daily store goals while creating a welcoming shopping experience.

You’ll maintain merchandise displays, stock aisles, and keep the floor clean and organized. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required, along with reliable attendance and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to effectively sell merchandise and meet individual/store goals.
• Ability to lift, move, and position merchandise during shifts.
• Safe operation of store equipment per policy (handheld devices, ladders, dollies).
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Stay alert and productive during assigned hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide Best of the WEST customer service by greeting customers and guiding them to products.
• Build relationships by identifying needs and recommending products.
• Utilize selling techniques to maximize sales with a customer-first approach.
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise, promotions, and current Western/workwear trends.
• Assist with stocking, display recovery, and housekeeping to keep floors organized and appealing.
• Support store tasks such as merchandising updates, price changes, and inventory projects.
