Job summary

Enterprise is hiring a Seasonal Customer Service Representative for our Vernon, CT area offices. The role focuses on delivering superior, friendly service, handling rental terms and vehicle features, and assisting customers with directions and add-ons.

Pay is $19.00 per hour with a 40-hour work week; employment runs mid-May 2027 through October 31, 2027 (up to 180 days). Benefits include PTO accrual, employee discounts, and a 401(k) plan with company match. Comprehensive training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid US drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 6 months of prior customer service experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner.
• Provide superior, efficient customer service by explaining rental terms, vehicle features, and available add-ons.
• Assist customers with directions, maps, and local area information.
• Answer incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, questions, and provide information and resolution.
• Place outgoing calls for callbacks and other assigned tasks.
• Assist in assessing vehicle condition upon return.
• Notify Management of any customer issues or vehicle problems or maintenance needs.
• Continuously build knowledge and pursue on-the-job training and company-sponsored classes.

Overview

The Seasonal Customer Service Representative provides superior, friendly, and efficient transactions and offering company approved services and products to provide a positive experience for all customers. This position also facilitates the rental process through verification and documentation of all necessary driver information to provide for an efficient and timely rental and return experience.

Employment Window

The seasonal employment window will begin in mid May 2027, will end on or before October 31, 2027, and cannot exceed a total of 180 days.

Location and Pay

This position pays $19.00/ hour and is located in one of our offices in the Greater Vernon, CT area.

Multiple schedules are available, inclusive of weekends and holidays. We are hiring for full time (40 hours/week) schedule. Schedules to be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Offer additional customer assistance by offering directions, maps, local area information, and appropriate service information


• Answer incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, general questions, provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, and other vendors


• Place outgoing calls for callback management, and miscellaneous calls as assigned


• Assist to assess condition of rental upon return


• Notify Management of any known customer problems


• Notify Management of any known vehicle problems and any required vehicle maintenance


• Continuously build knowledge and skills, pursue on the job training and development opportunities and any company sponsored classroom training

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old


• High School Diploma or GED required


• Must currently have a valid US driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents within the past 3 years.


• No drug or alcohol related conviction on record (DWI/DUI) in the past 5 years.


• Must have at least 6 months of prior customer service experience


• Must have a basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office products


• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
