Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly and reliable part-time Customer Service Attendant for the PennWest University Edinboro Campus in Edinboro, PA. This seasonal role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining well-stocked, clean, and appealing product displays for campus clients.

You will handle daily merchandising tasks, assist with deliveries, and ensure product accuracy while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

• Ability to perform calculations in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods and other foodservice products at client locations.
• Merchandise products according to established standards, ensuring shelves, coolers, vending machines and/or market displays and designated product areas are fully stocked, organized and visually appealing.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged or stale products.
• Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
• Maintain attractive, clean and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.
