Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Customer Service Merchandising Attendant for a seasonal position at a large Hamburg, PA facility serving multiple markets. You will manage deliveries, stock vending machines, and ensure cold items are properly refrigerated while promoting products with a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries of beverages, bakery, snacks and specialty foods at client locations.
• Restock vending machines and maintain inventory levels.
• Place stock on shelves and in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold items.
• Oversee merchandise ordering and inventory control.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Handle machine money and change.
• Interact positively with customers.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of vending machines.
• Maintain clean vending areas.

Job description

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to immediately hire to fill the role of Customer Service Merchandising Attendant. This is a seasonal position only that will be working at one location at a large e-commerce facility servicing our markets in the Hamburg, PA area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive delivery of items such as soft drinks, bakery products, snack items and specialty foods at client locations
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels with items such as soft drinks, pastries and packaged foods
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines
• Maintain clean vending areas
