Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is hiring a friendly and hardworking team member for a seasonal Customer Service Merchandising Attendant role at a Philadelphia, PA location. You will handle deliveries, stock vending machines, ensure proper refrigeration, and promote products with customers.

Ideal candidates are outgoing, able to work independently or as part of a team, and possess strong organizational and math skills. Training and growth opportunities are available in a family-oriented environment.

HEADQUARTERS SERVICE CENTER

Our Headquarters Service Center serves as the main support for all AVI operations throughout the United States. Departments include accounting, administration, finance, human resources, marketing, procurement, risk management, training and development, wellness and much more.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Customer Service Merchandising Attendant. This is a seasonal position only that will be working at one location in the Philadelphia, PA area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive delivery of items such as soft drinks, bakery products, snack items and specialty foods at client locations
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels with items such as soft drinks, pastries and packaged foods
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines
• Maintain clean vending areas
