Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Customer Service Attendant for a seasonal role at client locations. You will stock vending machines, manage inventory, and collect payments while maintaining clean, inviting service areas for customers.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong communication, organization, and teamwork, with a focus on reliable, courteous service and adherence to sanitation standards. Pre-employment drug testing is conducted.

Responsibilities

• Receive delivery of items at client locations.
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products.
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by eye contact and smiles.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines.
• Maintain clean vending areas.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive delivery of items such as soft drinks, bakery products, snack items and specialty foods at client locations
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels with items such as soft drinks, pastries and packaged foods
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines
• Maintain clean vending areas
