Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working individual for the seasonal position of Customer Service Attendant. The role involves receiving deliveries, stocking and stocking vending machines, and ensuring proper refrigeration and cleanliness at client locations.

Ideal candidates have an outgoing personality, strong teamwork and organizational skills, and the ability to interact effectively with customers and staff. Pre-employment drug testing is conducted; EOE.

Responsibilities

• Receive delivery of items and stock vending machines.
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in machines.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products.
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and inventory control.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by eye contact and smiling.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines.
• Maintain clean vending areas.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive delivery of items such as soft drinks, bakery products, snack items and specialty foods at client locations
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels with items such as soft drinks, pastries and packaged foods
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines
• Maintain clean vending areas
