Level Nine Sports in Salt Lake City is seeking a Seasonal Custom Boot Fitter to deliver personalized ski and snowboard boot fitting services. You will assess fit issues, perform custom modifications, and ensure boots enhance comfort, control, and performance for customers.

Must have 2–3 years boot fitting experience, knowledge of fitting tools, and familiarity with brands like BOA, GripWalk. Weekend and holiday availability required; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that aligns with L9’s service standards and mountain-town culture.

Seasonal Custom Boot Fitter

As a Seasonal Custom Boot Fitter at L9, you’ll be responsible for delivering top-tier, personalized ski and snowboard boot fitting services. You’ll work hands-on with customers to assess fit issues, perform custom modifications, and ensure every skier or rider leaves with boots that enhance comfort, control, and performance. This role requires both technical skill and a passion for helping people get the most out of their time on snow.

Holiday Availability: Must be able to work two of the three major winter holidays (Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas, New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day).

What you bring to the role:

• Prior experience in ski or snowboard boot fitting (minimum 2–3 years preferred).

• Advanced knowledge of custom boot systems and fitting tools.

• Familiarity with major boot brands and fit technologies (e.g. BOA, GripWalk, Liquid Fit, etc.).

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• A genuine passion for skiing, snowboarding, and mountain culture

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings — especially during the November through February seasonal period.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Technical certifications related to outdoor gear and equipment preferred.

$18 - $19 an hour
