Job summary

United Parcel Service, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Warehouse Worker / Cover Driver. The role combines cover driving with warehouse duties, rotating between outdoor delivieries and in-warehouse tasks to support delivery operations during peak periods.

Expect training for both responsibilities, with shifts typically varying by week and sometimes spanning extended periods in one role. A strong customer service focus and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, lower and carry packages up to 70 lbs.
• Stamina to handle outdoor, fast-paced work environments.
• Valid driver’s license (no CDL) with regional variations and verification.
• Pass the DOT physical and UPS driver test.
• Good driving and customer service skills.
• Adherence to UPS driver appearance guidelines and uniforms.

Responsibilities

• Cover Driver: safely operate UPS delivery vehicles and deliver/pick up packages with customer service.
• Cover Driver: work 8–10 hours on Mon–Fri or Tue–Sat, depending on scheduling.
• Warehouse Worker: load/unload packages from trailers/cars and move/packages in a warehouse.
• Warehouse Worker: typically 3.5–5 hours per day; report for warehouse shifts when not scheduled as a driver.
• Rotate between driving and warehouse duties as needed based on business needs.
